Religious Staff

Fr. Thomas Asher grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1993, working in the aviation industry afterwards. He began his seminary studies in 1999 and was ordained a priest for the Society of St. Pius X in 2005. Father spent his first year in St. Mary’s, Kansas. After that he spent 7 years as a seminary professor at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary, and 1 year at Holy Cross Seminary in Australia. Father Asher has been in Los Gatos as Prior and Retreat Master since 2014.


Fr. Todd Angele was born in Red Bluff, California. He graduated from Saint Marys Academy and entered the SSPX seminary in Winona. He was ordained by Bishop Fellay in 1990. Since then he has been stationed in Australia, Canada and the United States. He came to our retreat house in 2024 where he assists the prior in his pastoral work. 


Fr. Patrick Mackin was raised in Pennsylvania. He graduated from St. Mary’s College and entered the seminary in Winona in 2004. He was ordained in 2010 and has had many assignments all across the U.S.A. Fr. Mackin has been in Los Gatos since 2018, taking care of the faithful at the Chapel of St. Athanasius and teaching at St. Thomas More school in San Jose. He is also chaplain for the Holy Name Society.



Fr. Cyrille Perriol was born in Carcassonne, France. He entered the SSPX seminary in Econe, Switzerland in  2015 and was ordained in 2021. His first assignment was in Lyon, France and he has been at our retreat house since 2021, assisting the prior with Masses and Confessions. He is now caring for our faithful in the Sacramento  and Chico missions.
